As a host of the FFA Member Leadership Series, you can expect flexible delivery options, a skilled facilitator team, and a rotating curriculum! The FFA Member Leadership Series will empower students with new knowledge and skills they need to be confident and capable leaders – both in their chapters and beyond.
7th to 10th-grade students will experience the Connect Conference.
Session Themes:
- Connect: Students will be introduced to the theme of the conference and evaluate their role in helping others feel connected.
- Why: Students will analyze why an effort to connect with others must be made and who that effort will be applied towards.
- How: Students will discover tools and processes to cultivate healthy connections.
- Unhealthy Connections: Students will categorize the connections in their life and practice navigating unhealthy connections.
- Influence: Students will examine the relationship between trust and influence.
- Plan: Students will review the content from the previous sessions and leave motivated to create change
Conference Schedule:
Session 1 – Connect, 90 minutes
Session 2 – Why, 90 minutes
Session 3 – How, 75 minutes
Session 4 – Unhealthy Connections, 90 minutes
Session 5 – Influence, 60 minutes
Session 6 – Plan, 45 minutes
11th to 12th-grade students will experience the I Am Conference.
Session Themes:
- Identity: Students will be introduced to the theme of the conference and summarize their self-concept.
- Goals: Students will use identity-based goal setting principles to determine who they want to become
- Habits: Students will use the habit loop to provide them actionable steps to accomplishing their identity-based goals
- Priorities: Students will use their identity goals to prioritize their time
- Balance: Students will evaluate how balanced their lives are using the wheel of life.
Conference Schedule:
Session 1 – Identity, 90 minutes
Session 2 – Goals, 90 minutes
Session 3 – Habits, 75 minutes
Session 4 – Priorities, 90 minutes
Session 5 – Balance, 55 minutes
Session 6 – Closing, 45 minutes
